BRIDGEWATER ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL is a non-profit (*but not a charity) organization that organizes the annual festival on July 4th. We coordinate with the 4th of July Committee (who puts on the parade, carnival and fireworks. We partner with Bridgewater State University Conference & Events Center (special thanks to Lindsey Bruno and her crew!). Local businesses support our afternoon of events. We do not receive donations from individuals or the fireworks/parade committee (they need every penny they raise for their events).

On July 4th, immediately following the parade, on the grounds of BSU, we put on a festival which includes: art, live music with a focus on original music, dance, great food, children's events such as face painting, train rides, sand art and entertainment such as puppet shows and more...

Please contact us at the phone number listed above if you want to donate money, time, or if you have an idea for additions to our festival. (We DO NOT handle the parade or the fireworks.) We thank you for your attendance and look forward to a fun-filled day!

Annual favorites, FIRST PARISH UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH at 50 School Street (across the street) traditionally sells hand-squeezed fresh lemonade, food, and hosts a booksale during the Arts & Music Festival. Be sure to make a quick stop on your way over to the festival, where they will also have an information table set up.

FOOD on the QUAD, also for sale at the festival, fried dough, popcorn, snow cones, ice cream, pasty confections, meat on a stick, soda, bottled water, fresh squeezed fruit juices (Dan is Back!)

The BRIDGEWATER 4TH OF JULY COMMITTEE puts on a fantastic hometown parade and one of the more spectacular fireworks displays in the state, drawing thousands of families to Bridgewater. They have a website, click for the Parade and Fireworks Committee, to visit their site.

THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS!

We also would like to thank our local safety and law enforcement departments that support and encourage our program each year. Thank you to the Bridgewater Police Department, the Bridgewater Fire Department and Bridgewater State University Campus Police.

We also would like to thank Bridgewater State University , for their annual donation of the grounds and services of their grounds crew, electricians, and more.
